After The First Tasting
So, how did it go?
Hi, it’s Tai! (*'▽')
I just had my first chocolate tasting and wanted to share a few thoughts. Overall, it was a success! I think…? There’s definitely room to grow ☝,
but I’m really happy that everyone who attended enjoyed the experience—that alone makes it all worthwhile.
That said, my goal was to bring more conversation. The discussions between guests, with me, and with our special guest, Panos, could have taken a different direction, and that’s something I’d love to explore more next time.
Still, this was such a great experiment. Thank you so much to everyone who attended!
What’s Next?
I’m hosting another chocolate tasting the week of March 3rd!! 🎉
This time, it’s an exciting mix—Blue Bottle baristas, folks from Red Rock Coffee, and, for the first time, the public is welcome to join!
We’ll be diving into the same topic: the future of chocolate—where it might be headed and how it got here.
Reflecting on the first tasting, I know this one is going to be even better.
